Original POWER OF OMENS Bassist Dies Of Cancer

Matt Williamson, original bassist for San Antonio-based progressive metallers POWER OF OMENS, passed away on December 9, 2006 after a long bout with cancer. "He will definitely be missed, and we wish his wife and family much love and support and our deepest condolences," stated Chris Salinas (ZERO HOUR, ex-POWER OF OMENS).

"Matt was a great person and great friend who also served our country proudly in the Army. He played a key role in the writing proccess of the first POWER OF OMENS CD. Things were never the same when the country called his name and he had to leave.

"I love you, brutha, and I will miss you. You will live on through music forever."
